Sciatica

If you have ever been afflicted or know someone who has had sciatica, it's a painful  experience. The back has many nerves but the sciatic nerve runs from the lower back, across the buttocks, and down the leg to the foot. In my husband's case his foot was numb.
My husband has been afflicted since October of 2012. Finally with an x-ray and MRI to show a herniated disk an option of microsurgery was discussed.
Surgery was in late December and today he is free of the intense pain of sciatica. He was walking bent over with the aid of a crutch or cane. Today he is walking more upright without an aid.
